Gasketed plate heat exchanger
description
Gasketed plate heat exchangers consist of a series of ribbed plates. The plates are stacked on a frame which consists of fixed and movable pressure plates and the upper rail and the lower support struts. Tightening the stud plate placed between the plates in the package. Working medium enters the plate pack via connections (fittings) on the fixed and movable clamping plates. Location of plates creates two separate channels, allowing two working fluid streams to flow together and intersect without physical contact, and out of the equipment from the pipes on the pressure plate. In one plate package of the plate may be used with different surface patterns to maximize the efficiency of the given parameters. Collapsible multi-pass heat exchanger arrangement of plates can have more than two working environments.
